Welcome Alex Florescu!
We are excited to welcome Alex Florescu to SiteRocket Labs as our new System Administrator! As our resident system administrator and infrastructure expert, Alex architects, implements, and maintains server infrastructures that host each project that we work on.
Many of the web applications that we develop are complex and need to be hosted on specially configured servers. For example, some of our clients’ websites are hosted on a cloud platform that can scale easily if the website receives a spike in traffic. Other clients need their servers to sit behind proxies, firewalls or load balancers that are specially configured. Often time, we turn to Amazon Web Services (AWS) as our hosting platform of choice – and it takes a special skillset to be able to administer servers on AWS.
As our resident system administrator and infrastructure expert, Alex architects, implements, and maintains server infrastructures that host each project that we work on.
Without stable and diligently maintained servers, even our most finely coded web applications simply won’t work. After a website is launched, Alex then provides ongoing support and proactive monitoring in order to avoid problems that might arise.
Alex has extensive experience configuring servers, supporting proposals with infrastructure outlines, guiding infrastructure portions of project plans, and advising clients on infrastructure in the course of consulting engagements. His addition to our team allows us to further strengthen the quality and range of our projects.
